Rum Boogie Cafe
182 Beale Street
Memphis
901-5280150
The best place for blues and barbecue on Beale Street. Amazing food, incredible display of autographed guitars, and the best blues at night. Memphis isn't done right unless you make a stop here. And be sure to sample the great selection of rum drinks.
Bayou Bar & Grill
2105 Madison Ave Ste 1
Memphis
901-278-8626
A taste of New Orleans in Memphis. This tiny, tucked away spot will set you on fire with its authentic cajun/creole cuisine. A must if you like it hot!
Melting Pot
2828 Wolfcreek Parkway
Memphis
901-377-2828
Memphis does fondue, and the Melting Pot does it best. Four courses of fondue can make for both a sexy date dinner, or a kid friendly meal. Great wines, and great fun.
Chez Phillipe
Peabody Hotel, 149 Union Ave.
Memphis
901-529-4188
The best Memphis has to offer. Gourmet cuisine in the gorgeous Peabody Hotel. Prepared to be pampered, as have many celebrities, by Chef Jose Gutierrez and his remarkable staff. Highly recommended.
Alfred's On Beale
197 Beale Street
Memphis
901-525-3711
This club and restaurant has one of the best locations on Beale Street. Southern favorites on the menu, and live performers on the stage make for a good meal and fun night. Check out the two-story patio and the largest dance floor on Beale Street.
Sekisui Pacific Rim
4724 Poplar Avenue
Memphis
901-767-7770
Come for the atmoshpere, stay and then come again for the food. This gorgeous restaurant offers the best in sushi, seafood, and steak, and all with exceptional service. Highly recommended by all who visit, and by the natives of Memphis.
Bahama Breeze
2830 Germantown Parkway
Memphis
901-385-8744
A national chain, yes, but bland, no. The atmosphere and food are infused with Caribbean flavor, and the service is great. Might be a wait, but well worth it. Jamaica comes to Memphis, and with excellent results!
